RCMP are investigating a case of cattle rustling near Cochrane.
Twenty cows and twenty calves went missing from the ranch near Bottrel in October.
The animals are branded with a seven over a diamond on the left rib.
RCMP Sgt. Patrick Web tells the Calgary Sun, the theft wasn’t noticed until November since the cattle don’t stay in the same area.
He says stealing that many cows wouldn’t be easy; requiring horses, riders and a lot of trailer space.
