Are you ready to rock, Stephen Harper?

Prime Minister Stephen Harper rocked the house at the Conservative Christmas party Wednesday night.

Dressed in a black shirt and no tie, Harper let his closet rock star out.

Harper performed a five-song set list that included songs by the Guess Who and the Rolling Stones.

He also sang Neil Diamond’s legendary “Sweet Caroline,” which he said was picked by his beautiful wife.  The PM also paid a small tribute to the late John Lennon.

Harper then took a bow and gave a discreet wave, and he was gone.  Then came the announcement, “Ladies and gentlemen, the PM has left the building.”

The last time Harper played piano in public was at last year’s National Arts Centre Gala in Ottawa, surprising the crowd with a Beatles tune.
