Calgarians getting launched into space

Seven people from Calgary are going on a space adventure.

They’ll each be shelling out about $200,000 to be on the world’s first commercial space flight.

Vision 2000 travel has been booking tickets for the Calgary passengers.

A spokeswoman tells The Calgary Herald the ticket guarantees a window seat, four minutes of weightlessness and a souvenir space suit.

Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic fleet has about 382 people from across the globe signed up for the flights.
