The man who killed a southwest Calgary bar owner has had his appeal thrown out.
Adrian Walle’s lawyer tried to argue that the original trial judge didn’t properly consider his claim that he accidentally shot Jeff Shuckburgh dead in January of 2004.
Shuckburgh had kicked Walle out of his bar, Shuckaluck’s, and followed him out to make sure he had left.
That’s when Walle shot him in the chest.
The victim’s mom Sherry Morrison says she’s planning on having a really good Christmas after hearing the decision.
