The worst Christmas carol ever

They may bring cheer to some, but make others recoil in holiday horror.
660News hit the streets Wednesday to search for the most annoying Christmas carols ever.
Ruth is a nurse and where she works, the Christmas carols play well passed the point where the ear drums burn.
“When they get played three, five or ten times a day and then you go to bed and all you’re hearing is ‘Rockin’ around the Christmas tree,’ you think, I’m going to bash that Christmas tree down,” she says.
Then there are those carols that are so cute that people can’t help but love and despise them at the same time, like Heather’s pick, “I want a hippopotamus for Christmas.”
“It’s just so repetitive and the voice is annoying, but I can’t help it,” she says. “I love it.”
Other picks included “Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer,” “Redneck Christmas,” and anything by Alvin and the Chipmunks.
