Canmore overrun with rabbits

Canmore is cracking down on its huge rabbit population.

Mayor Ron Casey is concerned the little animals are attracting more sinister predators like cougars into town.

Casey has secured a $50,000 budget to deal with feral rabbits in Canmore, according to The Calgary Herald.

The town’s current bunny population is estimated to be at several thousand.
