Holiday traveling tips

The thought of air travel can be daunting during the holidays but Canadian Air Transport Security Authority gives us some pointers on how to make the trip easier.
CATSA asks that you keep gifts unwrapped, in case they need to be screened.
Baked goods should go in your suit case, especially those that have liquid centres, also gifts with liquids like jams or maple syrup should be in your checked luggage as well.
Most importantly as you head to the security check line, dress accordingly, you will be asked to remove jackets and shoes in addition to unloading your pockets.
They ask that you wear clothes and shoes that don’t have metal on them, so you can get through the security check in a pinch!
