Mackenzie pipeline approved

The National Energy Board has given its approval for the $16-billion project that would bring a billion cubic feet of natural gas a day from the Arctic to Alberta.
But there are 264 conditions attached to the approval and Imperial may not decide to build at all.
Independent energy analyst Glenn Macneil tells the Business News Network, natural gas prices would need to be more than double what they are now, just for the project to break even.
Several energy watchers add the supply of cheap natural gas is just too high for prices to come up anytime soon.
