The magic of The Polar Express movie is in Calgary this weekend.

A mother of three has transformed a coach bus into a holiday steam train. The train takes hundreds of underprivileged kids on a voyage re-creating the popular Christmas tale.

Cynthia johanson says the children are ecstatic to take part.

The Calgary Polar Express arrives at the North Pole in the Canyon Meadows Community Centre where Santa and Mrs. Claus are waiting.

Dozens of volunteers including singers, actors and dancers are helping to create the magical experience for children whose family are not able to celebrate Christmas.
