Fire department lights-up Christmas party

The organization’s Toy Association hosted its 43rd annual Christmas party: a glitzy and exclusive event.

An antique fire-truck, 150 uniformed firefighters, retired firefighters, and the department’s clown team were part of the fun at the Stampede Corral, Sunday afternoon.

Nearly 2-thousand families chosen by the Salvation Army and the Calgary School Board were given invitations.

Calgary firefighters make the event possible through payroll deductions and donations.
