Mayor Naheed Nenshi continues to save like Scrooge.
His next target is the lofty cell phone bills of city workers.
Nenshi says he noticed the monthly rates offered from the city’s provider were a bit high, so he asked his assistant to phone around to find the best deal.
He’s hoping to save between 10 and 20 per cent per month.
Nenshi tells The Calgary Sun that might not sound like a lot, but if one considers the savings across 10,000 phones, it adds up.
