Not every child can take in the merriment of Christmas.
So Market Mall has come up with an on-line activity for children, who are shut-in during the holidays.
Spokesperson Jill McDonald tells 660News, they kept in mind families that are spending the holidays at Ronald McDonald House when they came up with the concept.
They wanted to bring Christmas to children who aren’t necessarily able to visit with Santa, see Santa or have their photo taken with him. She says it really does make a difference to children in the house, who are unable to head to most public environments because of the treatment they are undergoing.
The interactive website includes a colouring book, scenes from Santa’s village at the Northpole, a newswire with all Santa news and even tweets from Santa himself.
The site can be found at www.marketmallsantatracker.ca.
