Fire crews jumped into action Friday morning to deal with an apartment fire downtown.
The blaze was at a two-storey building in the 200 block of 12th Avenue SW.
Firefighters quickly dealt with the fire but were forced to evacuate the 15 units.
Damage is described as minimal. It was mostly contained to the roof area and one of the units.
Fire crews found several electrical issues which forced them to shut down power to the building and evacuate.
All the residents with the exception of one unit have now returned to their homes.
Those displaced were sheltered by a Calgary transit bus and looked after by the Calgary Emergency Management Agency.
