A baby girl has been orphaned after a horrific crash on Christmas Eve.
The 8-month-old was the only survivor in a vehicle that slid into the path of a truck east of Edmonton on Highway 855. The collision happened around 11:30 pm on December 24th.
Three people were killed on impact, including the young parents of the baby. Rescue crews found the girl strapped into a car seat in the back. She was flown to an Edmonton hospital.
