Recycle your Christmas tree

New Year’s day has come and gone and it’s time to recycle your Christmas tree, if that’s your tradition.
The City will pick up trees from Calgary homes as part of residential garbage collection.
Your tree must be free of ornaments and loose tinsel and be put out by 7 o’clock the morning of Saturday, January 8th.
Park the tree next to your garbage and it’ll be picked up within two weeks.
The City is also offering eight temporary drop-off depots for recycling trees that are now open until January 18th.
