The family of an elderly woman who died in a care home after she was trapped by wheelchair restraints is looking for answers at a fatality inquiry.
77-year-old Fong Sue Louis suffered from Alzheimer’s and died at the Beverly Centre in August of 2008.
She tried to escape her restraints when her seat belt strangled her.
Her son Archie tells CTV the family wants to know why their mother’s death went unnoticed by staff for almost two hours.
The inquiry continues Wednesday.
