Shopping malls are no longer pumping out Christmas tunes, a sure sign that the holiday season is officially coming to an end, which means it’s time to start taking down your Christmas tree.

Lindsay Lofthouse with the city tells 660News Calgarians who receive residential garbage pick-up can start placing their trees out on their curb this Saturday or trees can be dropped of at one the eight temporary depots that are open now and will remain open until January 18th.

She adds, all decorations must be removed and trees should never be wrapped or bagged.
