Stephen J. Randall announced as federal Liberal candidate

The federal Liberals have picked the man who will try to replace Jim Prentice as MP for Calgary Centre-North.
Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff announced Thursday, that Stephen Randall will be the party’s candidate in the riding Prentice recently vacated for a job on Bay Street.
Randall used to be Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Calgary.
The Conservatives, who currently hold the riding haven’t decided who they will pick to run, but former alderman and mayoral candidate Ric McIver has expressed interest in the job.
