RCMP shoot robbery suspect in Canmore

A man has been shot by RCMP during a routine traffic stop Monday in Canmore.
Reports say the man hit was a suspect in a bank robbery.
There has been a string of armed robberies recently in the mountain town.
RCMP Sergeant Patrick Webb tells 660News, the man shot could be the same suspect from the weekend robberies.
A photo has been released of the suspect in the weekend robberies.
Webb adds the Alberta Serious Incident Response Team is now heading up the investigation.
