It’s time for some penny-pinching after all the holiday spending; many are tightening their belt to pay off credit card bills.
So how do Calgarians do it?
660News hit the streets Tuesday morning for ideas on how to save a buck.
With bills to pay and big expenses to deal with, Dennis says he doesn’t go home to Whitecourt quite as often.
“Instead of going home every week or two, I’m waiting at least two weeks before I return home,” he says. “With the weather conditions and the road conditions, it’s probably the best way to go.”
Other suggestions include cutting back on both coffee and charity donations.
