2011 Home Expo set for this weekend

Run by the Calgary Homebuilder’s Association, it’s Canada’s longest running home show.

The Home Expo’s Rick Young tells 660News, the show offers home improvement ideas, new building products, design ideas and even a few personalities brought in for free consulting sessions.

HGTV’s Tommy Smythe will be on hand with his renovating expertise and expert John Sillaots will also be offering do it yourself tips.

The show runs from noon til 9 p.m on Friday, 10 til 8 on Saturday and 10 to 5 on Sunday.

Tickets are 12 dollars at the door.
