EMS issues warning over snow shovelling

Calgary EMS wants people to take it easy when clearing their sidewalk.
They’ve been called out to three deaths in as many days blamed on overexertion when shovelling snow.
EMS spokesman Adam Loria tells The Calgary Sun if people don’t take precautions, shovelling can strain muscles, including the heart.
On top of that, there’s the risk of falls on the ice.
More snow is in the forecast for Calgary over the next few days.
