Wildrose announces plan to restore property rights

Alberta landowners could see a bevy of rights restored, if the Wildorse Alliance gets its way.

The party held a caucus meeting Thursday afternoon at the Highwood Golf and Curling Club.

Leader Danielle Smith spoke with 660News, and says restoring and strengthening property rights would be a priority for her party and landowners need to be treated more fairly.

If Bills 19, 36, and 50 are repealed, the party says government projects will be subject to a full, open and independent needs assessment, while land owners would be protected and properly compensated.
