World Juniors priority ticket draw under scrutiny

Having your named pulled in the priority draw for World Junior Championship tickets didn’t mean you were guaranteed to have the opportunity to purchase packages.
Many people who had their names drawn, logged on to buy seats only to find out they were already sold out.
Season ticket holders to both professional and WHL teams in Alberta were given dibs on purchasing tickets to the tournament and organizers say they underestimated how many tickets individuals would buy.
Flames alum Jim Peplinski was on Sportsnet Radio – the Fan 960, and says the public’s reaction is mixed to the news.
He said if more tickets become available, people who missed out on the opportunity will be contacted immediately.
