Train derailment in Central Alberta

A train derailed north of Innisfail on Tuesday morning.
16 cars of a Canadian Pacific freight train left the tracks just after 5 a.m.
Five of the cars contained Anhydrous Ammonia, but the railway reports none of the containers sprung a leak.
“Nobody was hurt but at this point they don’t know how long clean up is going to take.” says spokesperson Kevin Hrysak. “We’re taking all the necessary steps to make ensure we safely assess the situation.”
As a precautionary measure, Highway 2A, north of Innisfail, was shutdown.
