Dave Taylor to join Alberta Party

Former Liberal MLA Dave Taylor will join the Alberta party Monday.

The independent MLA for Calgary-Currie confirmed the decision to The Calgary Herald over the weekend.

He says he agrees with the party’s principles and believes he’s made the right decision, even if it’s taken a while.

The move would give the Alberta Party their only MLA on the legislature floor.

Taylor quit the Liberal Party last year, saying leader David Swann was an ineffective leader.
