Team Alberta preparing for the Canada Winter Games

In just a few weeks, athletes from Alberta will be going for gold at the Canada Winter Games in Halifax.

The games begin Friday Feb. 11 and wrap up on Feb. 27.

Team Alberta made up of 337 participants, including 242 athletes in 20 different sports.

Team Alberta spokeswoman, Pat Lechelt, tells 660News the teams athletes are thrilled to be part of a winning culture and join alumni including Jennifer Grey.

All 10 provinces and three territories are expected to be represented during the games.
