Man assaulted at LRT platform

A man is in hospital after being assaulted and robbed at the Southland LRT Station.
Acting Duty Inspector Keith Cain tells 660News the attackers were rounded up a short time later.
Cain says after the initial robbery, the three suspects travelled south on the LRT to the Shawnessy station where they tried to rob another man. Police tracked them down and arrested them at a strip mall near the station soon after that.
Cain says all the phone calls they received from witnesses to the first attack helped police make a quick arrest.
The man who was robbed and assaulted was not seriously hurt.
