Police looking for suspect in alleged hate crime

An alleged gay bashing in B.C. has police on the hunt for a Calgary man.
It happened on December 29th, when two men on a back country ski trip stopped at St. Leon Hot Springs near Nakusp.
That’s when they had an initially friendly chat with a man named “Terry.”
When Terry found out the two men were partners, he told two friends who were with him that he was going to kill the couple.
One of the men ran while Terry beat up the other until the suspect’s friends told him to stop and leave.
The man police are looking for is described as white, in his mid-forties and has a stocky build, flat-top haircut and a bird tattoo on his chest.
