Alliance leader accepts MLA’s challenge

Wildrose Alliance leader Danielle Smith has accepted independent MLA Raj Sherman’s challenge for a health care debate.
In a statement, Smith says health care remains in a critical state in the province and that we can’t wait for the disintegrating PC government to sort itself out.
Sherman issued the challenge at a Friends of Medicare town hall meeting in Calgary yesterday.
The emergency room doctor, kicked out of the Tory caucus after challenging the government’s decisions on health care, has stated that those making the decisions have no background in health care.
Meanwhile, Smith is also calling for other party leaders to get involved in the debate.
