The division on city council is deep when it comes to fluoride in Calgary’s drinking water.
A recent survey by The Calgary Herald finds seven aldermen want the additive scrapped outright.
Six others want the issue to head to a panel for more study, which could involve a plebiscite.
Alderman Dale Hodges did not offer comment, saying there was no way to win on the issue.
Ward 14’s Peter Demong says he’s undecided and will use council’s debate on the subject to make his choice.
