Former forensic pathologist’s work under review

Alberta justice is reviewing the files handled by a former employee of the Medical Examiner’s Office in Calgary.
The investigation was launched following a complaint from the Calgary Police Service which confirmed inaccurate results in at least one autopsy.
A dedicated prosecutor has been assigned to review all of the cases that the former pathologist was involved in.
The former employee in question was with the Office of the Medical Examiner for two years, leaving in January 2011.
