Armed robber on the loose after tanning salon robbery

An armed robber is still on the streets Saturday morning after escaping police.

The white male, said to be between 30 to 35-years-old, held-up a tanning salon in the south-west using a 5-inch knife around 8 Friday night.

Duty Inspector Dave Wood tells 660News, police did their best to try and catch the culprit, but he escaped on foot.

Wood says the suspect made off with some property from the Sweet-Tan Salon in the 15-Hundred block of 14th Street southwest.

No one was hurt in the incident.
