Attempted murder charge laid in Beltline stabbing

Police have charged a Calgary man with attempted murder following a stabbing Monday in the Beltline.
42 year-old Robert Darryl Morrison is facing one count of attempted murder, three counts of assault with a weapon, two counts of robbery and one count of threats to kill.
The victim was transported to hospital with critical injuries but his condition did stabilize later.
Police had originally thought this was home invasion but have since learned the attack was likely drug-related.
