City launches website for input on budget

The city has launched a new project called “Our city. Our budget. Our future.” It will include an online component as well as workshops where Calgarians can tell the city what they want in the next three-year budget cycle.
Whitney Smithers with the city tells 660News, it’s part of what came from the last election.
“Like I say, what we’ve heard from council as a whole saying, ‘we want to be more transparent, more inclusive and making sure we can link the decisions that we’re making as a city to the values and priorities of our citizens.'”
