“Love a cat or dog” campaign on now

If you’re looking for a furry family member, Sunday or Monday is a good time to do it!
The “love a cat or dog” campaign is on at the City of Calgary Animal Services with reduced adoption rates.
The Calgary Humane Society and “meow” foundation are also involved in the campaign.
The Humane Society’s Desiree Arsenault tells 660News, though it’s centred around Valentine’s day, they caution against gifting pets as “gifts.”
“Although it seems like a really sweet thing to do. You always want to make sure the family is involved in the decision.”
There are many cats still up for adoption.
