Big upsets, rocking performances highlight Grammys

Twitter and Facebook were buzzing Sunday night for the Grammy Awards.
Show stopping performances, a huge upset in the Best New Artist category and a momentous win for an alternative rock band from Montreal.
Canada’s Arcade Fire took top prize of the night, Album of the Year. Other Canadian stars weren’t so lucky; Justin Bieber and Drake both went home empty-handed.
The biggest upset of the night was in the Best New Artist category, where jazz artist Esperanza Spalding took the trophy.
Lady Antebellum nabbed five Grammys including record and song of the year for “Need You Now.”
Eminem took home two awards in the rap category for best album and best solo performance while the top rap song was “Empire State of Mind” with Jay-Z and Alicia Keys.
Bruno Mars won the best male-pop vocal performance while Lady Gaga won two awards in the pop category.
