Alberta Tory leadership race heats up

Two more candidates are set to throw their hats into the ring to run for premier.
Alberta Junior Finance Minister Doug Griffiths and Justice Minister Alison Redford are expected to join the race to replace Ed Stelmach.
Griffiths is holding a news conference Tuesday morning in Edmonton, where he’ll likely announce that he will seek the leadership of the Progressive Conservative Party.
Griffiths has been the member of the legislature for Battle River-Wainwright since 2002.
Redford, the MLA for Calgary-Elbow is expected to announce she’ll run for premier later this week and tells Citytv she’s taking her time with the decision.
Former Deputy Premier Doug Horner and former Finance Minister Ted Morton have already said they’ll run for the position.
