Royal couple could visit Stampede

The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth could have some royal flavour this year.

As part of their trip to Canada this summer, Prince William and Kate Middleton will be in Calgary on July 8th; the same day as the Stampede parade.

Stampede officials won’t confirm or deny the possibility of the young Windsors  attending, or even marshalling the event.

They wouldn’t be the first royals to whoop it up at the Stampede.  In 1977, Prince Charles was the parade marshal, and took in the rodeo and chuckwagon races with his brother, Prince Andrew.
