An Alberta pup has taken home a prestigious award.
Oscar de la Hoya, a three-year-old pug from Calgary, has won the top prize at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.
The dog has a pale coat and dark eyes, and was judged the best of 33 pugs at the annual event, which is like the Super Bowl of dog shows.
The pooch also came in third in the Best Toy Dog category.
His co-owner tells the Calgary Herald, Oscar is an amazing dog and is “a breeder’s dream.”
