City aims to reduce bird deaths

The city is trying to come up with ways to make sure less birds die by crashing into buildings.

But the rules aren’t binding.

Some of the recommendations include making glass easier for birds to see and hanging awnings over windows.

The guidelines have been forwarded to council for approval.
