An arena manager in Calgary had to chase down a couple of men who took a zamboni for a joyride outside.

It happened at the East Calgary Twin Arenas in the community of Erin Woods in the city’s southeast.

The men were drunk and wanted to use the ice cleaner to free their car.

The arena manager tricked the pair into staying by getting a shovel to help them dig out their vehicle.

Police arrived and took the two men into custody.
