Calgary’s Midwinter Blues Festival has started

One of the highlights of Calgary’s Midwinter Blues Festival will offer a rare appearance by a guitar player known for her fiery performances and guitar virtuosity.
The week-long event also features vocal boot camps, workshops and special concerts at various venues throughout the city.
Producer Maurice Ginzer tells 660News, Saturday’s Dance Party will feature, Debbie Davies, who is Canada’s version of Bonnie Rait.
Ginzer calls Davies one of the “best female guitar players on the planet.”
The dance party will be held on Saturday night at the Parkdale Community Hall off Memorial Drive in the N.W.
