It’s the political equivalent of the game show, “Let’s Make A Deal!”
Punted by the ruling Stelmach Tories in December, Independant MLA Raj Sherman says he might seek the leadership post of the Progressive Conservatives with Premier Stelmach recently announcing he’s resigning after the current legislative session.
Then again, the Edmonton E-R physician says he will also be talking to the Alberta Liberals and the Alberta Party about their leadership positions.
Kicked out of the PC caucus for his stand over the province’s emergency room crisis, Sherman tells the Calgary Herald he’ll talk to all three parties and find out where he’s wanted most.
Sherman plans to make a decision next month after consulting the three parties, family and his constituents.
