Tired of being on the defensive, Enmax has launched a campaign it hopes will restore accountability and transparency.
The electricity utility promises to sharpen its business focus, and will review management operating procedures and policies.
Enmax hopes the new initiative, dubbed the Tone at the Top Principles, will lead to a better relationship between the company and its shareholders, the citizens of Calgary.
Over the past few months, the power company has been in the news for all the wrong reasons; ranging from private rock star parties to contractor-paid trips.
Earlier this year, Former Enmax CEO Gary Holden resigned, following a public outcry over how the company was being run.
