New project for East Village

Another major land deal has been inked for the East Village redevelopment.
The Calgary Municipal Land Corp. plans to announce the $300-million project Thursday.
Three Ontario firms will work on the 600,000 square foot project, which will include mixed-use residential and commercial mid and high rises.
Construction could start as early as next year on the buildings, which will likely range from four to 22 storeys.
Condos will go on sale in October, and construction will start once 70 to 75 per cent are sold.
