Robbery at northeast Superstore

Police responded to calls of a robbery at the Real Canadian Superstore on Westwinds Drive in the northeast, Saturday night.
Duty Inspector Rob Williams tells 660News, police were called by security who was watching the man take out the drawer of the cash till.
” He fled out an emergency exit, with the drawer from the till. Our canine units responded quickly and were able to apprehend the guy within about a half a block of the store.”
Williams says, they were able to retrieve the till, though it’s not known how much money he had run off with.
