Calgary banks prepare for RRSP rush

The deadline for RRSP contributions for the 2010 tax season strikes at 11:59 p.m. Tuesday, and banks across Calgary are getting ready for last minute RRSP contributors.
Representatives from First Calgary and TD Financial tell the Calgary Herald the rush has calmed down a little over the last decade due to technology making it easier to invest throughout the year.
A recent RBC poll shows only 39 per cent of Canadians between 18 and 34 have RRSPs.
That’s the lowest level in a decade.
