Calgarians looking to sell their houses are asking too much money.
That’s according to a leading U.S. real estate expert, who visited Cowtown Thursday to speak to CIR Realtors.
Steve Harney says it’s because Calgary buyers are being cautious, making offers that anticipate a possible housing crash similar to the one that happened in the U.S.
He says such a crash is not in the cards for the Calgary market, but those selling their houses need to adjust their prices downward a little to account for buyer jitters.
