Huge banking conference headed to Calgary

Calgary is expected to get a big economic boost from a huge international banking convention coming to the city this month.

About 3,000 delegates will fly into Calgary for the Inter-American Development Bank’s annual meeting.

The delegates come from all over the world.

The Calgary Herald reports they’ll book about 20,000 nights in local hotels and inject up to $4-million into the city’s economy.
